USATF-CT preparation for age-group competition
NCBlazers will meet at the entrance to the track nearest the parking lot where the Farm Road fields are located. There will be training for all but it is geared to stregthening and reinforcing the skills acquired during the spring season. The end goal is competing at the USATF-CT age group competition. Athletes who have not had their age verified must do so if your intention is to compete at the age-group championship, asap. Proof of age documents need to be provided to USATF National on your child’s membership page. If you have already done this once you do not need to do it again.
There are currently two planned meets; Sunday, June 11 at Bowmen Field in New Haven and Sat. June 17 at Danbury HS. June 11 is a prep meet for the USATF CT Championship and June 17 is the CT Championship which serves as the qualifying meet for the regional USATF Championship (Time and date TBA).
